Karin Viard and Eric Caravaca are odd couple Judith Zahn and Julien Demarsay in the French comedy Les Ambitieux (2006). Judith is an emasculating high-powered publishing executive, while Julien is a sensitive first-time novelist who runs a small town bookshop. When they meet and start sleeping together, each becomes increasingly hungry for success and their relationship descends into backbiting and pettiness, but not before Karin shows off her mam-bitieux while riding her boyfriend.
