Salvatore Samperi lampoons bourgeois convention Luis Buñuel-style in the fiendish erotic comedy Chaste and Pure (1981). Laura Antonelli stars as Rosa, the bratty young daughter of a rich, authoritative father (Fernando Rey) who’s obsessed with his daughter’s inheritance. When the virginal Rosa begins developing eyes for every male within spitting distance, her father tries to keep her blossoming desires under wraps for the sake of his pocketbook. Antonelli plays her part with wildcat unrestraint--she’s quick to lose her bra, and there’s plenty of jiggling going on throughout.
