When a workaholic doctor is persuaded to take a much-needed vacation he ends up enjoying himself more than he ever suspected in the German romance Die Braut meines Freundes (2000). Michael von Au plays Dr. Michael Mangold, a world-renowned surgeon who grumpily agrees to take a two-week leave of absence under pressure from a colleague. Mangold’s misery melts quickly away, however, when he meets radiant Lena Stern (Katharina Böhm). Unfortunately the hottie’s engaged to be married to the same doctor who suggested Mangold take a holiday. Phenomenal Swiss national Böhm has never looked better than she does in her role here--the busty blonde cuts loose with a couple of skintillating shower and bedroom reveals.
