A young man who’s hard up for money takes a job as a euthanasiaist’s assistant in the German melodrama Kaltes Fieber (1984). Klaus Rohrmoser stars as Pierre, a young man who’s paid handsomely to assist a doctor in helping ailing individuals to die. Pierre doesn’t have a problem with his work until the day he meets a client with second thoughts and suddenly finds himself in a tangled ethical quandary. Luckily Pierre’s girlfriend Babsie (Katharina Böhm) is there to rudder her man through the storm. When Babsie flashes her pert breasts during a neon-illuminated sex scene, the young stud’s problems melt away.
