Originally released with an X-rating, Roman Polanski's Macbeth (1971) has enough nudity and gore to make you pick up that dusty tome of Shakespeare on your shelf and give the Bard another go. Francesca Annis plays the infamous "Lady Macbeth." She may not be able to get that damn spot out, but she has no problem getting her clothes off for a nocturnal streak. There's also some nudity from the three witches. Their bubbles make all toil and trouble vanish. If all the world's a stage, then this production is a stage at a peep show!
