The feel-good drama The Nail: The Story of Joey Nardone (2009) stars Tony Luke Jr. as a former boxer who returns to work at his Philadelphia gym after eight years in prison. There he meets and begins to mentor Jesus (Paul Orrantia), a scrawny Mexican youth who’s constantly being beaten up by neighborhood bullies and his drunken father.
