Der Letzte Zeuge (The Last Witness) plays like a German version of the current American hit C.S.I., only with a bit more humour and plenty of sexual situations thrown in for good measure. Ulrich Mühe grounds the series quite capably, though the standout is the stunningly beautiful Gesine Cukrowski as the criminologist’s competitive girlfriend/co-worker Judith.
