Claudia Michelsen is one of Germany's secret weapons, only she's not out to destroy but to devastate with her powerful beauty. She debuted in the adventure drama Die Besteigung des Chimborazo (1989) opposite actor-turned-singer-turned-director Jan Josef Liefers, but it was Claudia who turned heads. Although French movie legend Jean-Luc Godard wrote and directed her second film, Allemagne année 90 neuf zero (1991), it wasn't until Das schafft die nie (1994) that Claudia received the respect she deserved. It earned her the prize as Best Young Actress at the Max Ophüls Festival, making the green-eyed brunette a star. Though she's appeared in quality films, she remains under the radar. That's a shame, because she's more than a mere blip on Mr. Skin's equipment.
