NBC won the sci-fi lottery with Quantum Leap, a series about a scientist who cooks up a way to travel back in time. That all sounds fine, but there's a bit of a boo-boo—he's having a hell of a time finding his way back home. And he's not only stuck in the past; he's also lost his own ass. That's because part of the whole time-machine scheme involves switching bodies with other human beings. Now he's bouncing around the time-space continuum without any idea what fate has planned for him, trying to right past wrongs and hoping that the next body snatch will be his last game of grab-ass.
