Directed by documentarian Chico Teixeira, the Brazilian drama Alice’s House (2007) stars Carla Ribas as the title character, a manicurist whose home life consists of putting up with the demands of her taxi-driver husband and three teenage sons. Soon Alice seeks escape by having an affair with one of her clients' husbands only to find out that her husband is sleeping with their next-door neighbor. Carla provides the bubbles for this soap opera when she gets topless twice.
