The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) is a feminist take on the slasher gore classic, written and directed by a couple of broads, Rita Mae Brown and Amy Holden Jones, respectively. The story is typical: A high school girls' basketball team has a slumber party, and an escaped serial killer crashes with a portable auger to drill the ladies some new holes. The feminist angle is that the gals fight back. There's gore and naturally some gratuitous T&A from Debra Deliso, Michelle Michaels and Brinke Stevens and even a shower scene where the foxes are nude and loose. Now that's the kind of feminism Mr. Skin likes.
