It’s 1942 and Europe is in the full swing of war. Charles, the head of a large company, finds that his life and livelihood are in jeopardy. When his Nazi-fighting buddy Jérôme shows up out of the blue, it’s a family reunion of sorts for Charles. Things get ugly in De guerre lasse (1987), however, when Charles decides to take up with Jérôme’s main squeeze, Alice.
