The rip-roaring criminal-underworld story La Balance (1982) stars Nathalie Baye as ferociously sexy streetwalker Nicole Danet. Her boyfriend is a racketeer named Dédé (Philippe Léotard), who gets recruited by the police after the murder of one of their informants (known in France as a "balance"). This puts the couple in heat with both the mob and the cops alike and leads to nonstop electrifying onslaughts of entertainment—not the least of which is delivered when Nathalie takes off her top.
