There’s nothing innovative about body modification--except, that is, when crazy Dee Snider picks up teens via the internet and forces body modification upon them. Former Twisted Sister frontman Snider also wrote the script for the bizarre and sadistic horror flick Strangeland (1998). This film didn’t make him into a horror icon, though, and he’s since gone on to work as a morning DJ. Linda Cardellini, however, still makes an impression as a hot young thing whose harrowing adventures rank with Marilyn Burns’s in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).
