Fright-film icon Vincent Price stars as Lord Edward Whitman in the seventeenth-century-set spooker Cry of the Banshee (1970). The story begins with the Dark Lord slaughtering a coven of witches and thereby bringing the supernatural wrath of their leader, Oona (Elisabeth Bergner), down upon himself, his family, and his denizens. And that’s some heavy shit. As Lady Whitman, Essy Persson bares her boobs and will have you crying out in appreciation.
