The sci-flick Es ist nicht leicht ein Gott zu sein (1990) is set on another planet in a parallel universe. The civilization, well-known to planet Earth, has only advanced to the equivalent of the Middle Ages on Earth. When an emissary from the experimental history institute on Earth is sent to spy on the goings-on there, he finds a situation that is quickly deteriorating into chaos. Civil strife, mass murder, rape, and pillaging are the order of the day. Unless he acts quickly, the civilization threatens to disintegrate into nothing. Anne Gautier gets pawed by a long-haired geezer, but at least we get to see her perfect pontoons and fabulous furburger.
