The high-tech fright flick Death on Demand (2008) chronicles a cabal of college-age adventurers—including a couple of jocks, a nerd, and a porn star—who enter an online contest to spend a night in a haunted house. As the daring young contestants endure endless jolts, video cameras broadcast their eerie ordeal live on the Internet. The catch is that the joint really is spooked—specifically by a guy who offed his entire family after thinking he’d executed an Abominable Snowman in the Himalayas (it could happen). Death on Demand is good, hair-raising fun, but watch out for other body parts that are bound to leap up upon spying costars Krista Grotte and Anne McDaniels in the buff.
