The usual fading horror franchise. The guy who plays the Candyman is a terrific horror villain with a resounding and scary voice, but the script is mediocre, and the musical score is a disappointment if you liked the first two Candyguy flicks. I don't know how, but the academy Oscar buzz so far has not included a best actress nomination for Donna D'Errico. This poor girl, no Lady Macbeth in her future. Oh, well, she's getting paid for it. Unfortunately she does two nude scenes in which she shows very little. She is lying down in the bathtub forever, must be 30-60 seconds, rocking back and forth, weeping inconsolably, and we never see any more than this. She keeps her massive bosom sheltered safely beneath those arms.
