Called by critics the first “Pierogi Western,” the Polish flick Dead Man's Bounty (2006) tells the story of a stranger (Karel Roden) who rides into town with the dead body of a wanted man (Val Kilmer) and becomes involved with the local barmaid (Katarzyna Figura), upsetting the town’s drunk sheriff (Boguslaw Linda). Along the dusty trail, we get to see Katarzyna’s kans, kaboose, and Krakow.
