Murder’s kept in the family for Drowning by Numbers (1988), the tale of three generations of fatal femmes. Joan Plowright, Juliet Stevenson, and Joely Richardson star as the three women--all named Cissie Colpitts--who discover how easy it is to drown a philandering husband. Of course, it helps that the local coroner is weird enough to go along with the plot. Joely and Juliet show that they’ve got some jugs worth drowning for--and Jane Gurnett also appears to rack up the number of racks.
