Based on the novel by Joseph Roth, the French mini-series Radetzkymarsch follows a family of soldiers and bureaucrats through the height of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and into its waning days. It's a history buff's treat, but Charlotte Rampling also bares her Hapsburgs and imperial seat, so don't neglect Radetzkymarsch if you're more interested in sweater pets than in getting to know Franz Josef. And Rampling's not the only one who offers up a sampling of dumplings—Elena Sofia Ricci and Julia Stemberger also get skintimate with the camera.
