Magnum Force (1973) is the sequel to Dirty Harry (1971), and it finds Clint Eastwood making our day again. This time the story finds Eastwood eclipsed by a rogue group of vigilante cops that take his “Feel lucky, punk?” attitude to the max. But while Eastwood may bend the rules, he still abides by them. When the cops start killing people before they have even committed a crime, it’s Eastwood who is battling the badge. Who can blame him when one of the renegade cops’ victims is a topless Suzanne Somers? That’s far from a victimless crime.
