If you think history is dusty, old, and should be forgotten, then you’re right. But all of that means nothing when talking about Ogniem I mieczem (1999), an epic historical drama about the Ukrainian uprising against the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth magnates in the seventeenth century. If you’re yawning, shut that gob and get your hands around Polish sausage pleaser Izabella Scorupco, a tall and blonde vision who shakes the cobwebs from this story and will raise more than precedent when she flashes her fur and tiny top in the lake. Yes, history is a bore, but her-story is sexy.
