From the B-movie mavens at the Sci Fi Channel comes Lake Placid 2 (2007), a long-in-coming sequel to the comedic creature feature Lake Placid (1999). It's the tale of a sheriff, an EPA agent, a big-game hunter, a Fish and Wildlife agent, and Cloris Leachman, not necessarily in that order. Oh, and there are four bloodthirsty thirty-foot-long crocodiles on the loose too! Woo hoo! It's been two years since two huge prehistoric crocs showed up in Maine (and were subsequently killed for causing all kinds of toothsome pain), and crabby lawman John Schneider is awakened from his false sense of crabby security when swimmers in the afflicted lake start turning up nibbled upon. Can he and his band of croc hunters save the town from these scaly scalawags? Filmed in Bulgaria, Lake Placid 2 features a handful of bulgy beauties showing off their Bulgarian balloons.
