Apollonia of Purple Rain (1984) fame and Swedish sex goddess Anita Ekberg are just some of the bad girls who appear in the Italian exploitation thriller Cattive Ragazze (1992). Marina Ripa Di Meana’s scintillating tale follows a recent divorcée (Eva Grimaldi) who books it cross-country with her male stripper friend after receiving word that her mother-in-law has been released from an insane asylum. Along the way the odd couple experiences shoot-outs, car chases, and plenty of good lovin’. Despite the knockout cast, Grimaldi and Florence Guérin are the only principals who undress completely. They make up for their bashful co-stars, however, by going all-out in an eclectic series of bathtub and S&M scenes.
