Blanca Guerra in Pedro Paramo (1978)

Review

The Mexican art film Pedro Paramo (1978) focuses on a son’s search for his father during the era of the Mexican revolution. Told in flashbacks, we see on the one hand the son looking for the father; on the other hand we see the father and how he lived prior to the revolution. Complex and deep, Pedro Paramo is an excellent example of Mexican film at its highest level. There’re even some spectacular milk cans and even a hint of muff from Blanca Guerra as she disrobes.
