Against the background of the jazz clubs of the 1930s, the film noir homage Dark Streets (2008) tells the story of Chaz (Gabriel Mann), a young man with a pencil-thin mustache who inherits his power magnate father’s club after his mysterious death. Chaz begins to look into his father’s death, which may or may not be connected to the rolling blackouts that plague the city. Meanwhile, he’s also caught in a love triangle with a singer (Bijou Phillips) and a club patron (Izabella Miko), who gives us a brief glimpse of her rump and left rackage. Nice dark meat!
