After Darkness (1985) stars John Hurt as a guy who's hurting for his little bro, a troubled soul who's been locked up for years in a bughouse in Switzerland. He's Julian Sands, and he's been there since losing his twin in an accident. Guilt-ridden John decides to snatch Julian from the booby hatch and set him up in an apartment in the city. A respected professor of anthropology, John leads a life that's deceptively routine—but it all starts coming apart at the seams when he brings his brother home. Then comely co-ed Victoria Abril gets warm for Julian's form, and John's the one who starts bugging out. And who can blame him?
