Low on budget, low on plot (and low on porn stars . . . despite the title, it doesn't have any!), Amateur Porn Star Killer (2007) is pseudo-snuff for snuff's sake. The shot-on-DV brutality follows psycho Shane Ryan (also the film's director and co-scribe) as he drives around with his video camera looking for a victim. He finally picks a doozy: she's his co-writer, Michiko Jimenez! As young, doomed Stacy, Michiko does the cuckoo thing and trusts Shane to give her a ride; they end up at a dingy motel, where he talks her into getting comfortable. Then, making sure she's at home, he proceeds to do every bad thing a bad guy can do, culminating in some very snuffy stuff.
