Dreya Weber is the titular body-bender in The Gymnast (2006), the first feature from director Ned Farr. After an injury ended her high-flying career, Dreya landed a job as a massage therapist, got herself into a loveless marriage, and gave up on ever reaching the heights again. But a chance meeting puts her back in the game, and soon Dreya's doing an aerial gymnastics act with the lesbian-mastic Addie Yungmee, who thinks she's a perfect ten. As they prepare to audition their act for Vegas bigwigs, the troubled-but-noble Addie and Dreya get increasingly gay-a for each other. The Gymnast won both the Grand Jury Award and the Audience Award at 2006's L.A. Out fest in addition to scoring high marks at other gay-and-les film fests.
