Guys like to sit around eating greasy food with a few good buddies, talking about broads they’ve boned or broke themselves in the attempt to bone. Guys enjoy this therapeutic and instructional activity so much that they will even watch a movie based upon such conversations, such as Red Meat (1997). Three pals shoot the bull in a diner booth. One boasts of being lucky in love; another bemoans a string of romantic misfires; the third is a sensitive soul whose deepest loving attachment was with a woman dying of cancer. Flashbacks enhance the conversations. Guess which guy bags the sexy, eavesdropping waitress.
