Anxious to capitalize on the success of Alien (1979), producer Roger Corman shot Galaxy of Terror (1981), Horror Planet (1981) and Forbidden World (1982) using the same sets and interchangeable footage. (James Cameron contributed heavily to the set construction.) This last of the unholy trinity stars Jesse Vint as a futuristic sharpshooter hunting down an experimental life form on the planet Xarbia. Fortunately, the cast also includes two veteran life forms--specifically, exhibitionist space vixens June Chadwick and Dawn Dunlap.
