The sci-fi cult classic Night of the Comet (1984) follows a group of survivors, including Valley Girl sisters Regina (Catherine Mary Stewart) and Samantha (Kelli Maroney), who have escaped being turned into zombies by the arrival of Halley’s Comet by staying indoors behind steel walls. Now they have to make their way to an L.A. radio station that’s sending out an automated signal, dodging the flesh-eating humanoids roaming the streets and the evil scientists (Geoffrey Lewis and Mary Woronov) who want to turn their blood into a serum. Along the way, Kelli finds time to strip down to her underwear in a neon-tinted bathroom. That will give you a boney-maroney!
