Given that its alternate title is Act of Vengeance, it’s reasonable to expect that Rape Squad (1974) may center upon a group of females exacting excruciating and protracted revenge upon the sexual miscreant who inflicted himself upon them. Nothing could be closer to the truth. The scenes of erotic battery are sure to please fans of grossly depicted, sadistic, and explicit brutality. The fair female dates of male viewers will probably not start enjoying the film until after the victims unite, empower themselves through martial arts training and weaponry, and track down the brute who done them wrong. There is a chance that boys and girls in the audience will not be happy for the same reasons at the end of this film.
