The original Halloween (1978) is a classic. It brought about a horror renaissance that no doubt influenced the young Rob Zombie, who has been given the honor of remaking the film with Halloween (2007), less a remake, more a pre-lewd of what was to come. One thing Zombie likes as much as gore and girls is crazy characters, and this film is full of them, as we learn Michael Myers’s backstory and what made him reach for the hockey mask. It happens to involve a lot of nudity, including Hanna Hall as Myers’s sister, with additional skin from non-family members such as Danielle Harris and Kristina Klebe. Oddly, Zombie’s bombshell better half, Sheri Moon, is sexy but skingy. She’s been nude friendlier in her husband’s pervious films, but that’s a small criticism to the treats in this tricky production.
