Along with Harry Connick Jr. and Jon Bon Jovi, the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular 2001, broadcast on NBC, prominently featured the bronze globes of Jessica Simpson, barely contained under a tight white lace-up top. The force with which her cleavage was popping out gave the TV audience the false hope that her seams would burst and spill out her golden jugs on camera so viewers at home could shoot off their own fireworks. Unfortunately it was not to be, and the nation had to make do with brightly colored explosions in the sky rather than the more impressive sight of Jessica’s jigglies bared for America’s 225th birthday.
