Pierre works for the highway department, designing roads and dealing with countrywide traffic issues in Les Choses de la vie (1970). In a cruel twist of fate, he is involved in a horrific traffic accident that leaves him immobile and hospitalized for a prolonged period of time. While there, he begins to reflect on his career and his life and the many paths not taken. Though it is quite dark, Romy Schneider shows off one of the finest asses in the land.
