A bad-boy bank robber woos the sheriff’s wife from behind bars in the hot-and-heavy western romance Molly and Lawless John (1972). Vera Miles stars as Miss Molly, the love-starved wife of an overworked frontier lawman. The incarcerated Lawless John (Sam Elliott) proves successful in wooing the petticoat-clad beauty, and before long the two are rolling through the dust on the outskirts of town. Gary Nelson’s shoot-’em-up garnered a PG rating, so unfortunately there’s not a whole lot of cowgirl flesh on display; however, co-star Cynthia Myers does manage to effectively tantalize in her role as a barroom hussy.
