Helena Mattsson is your typical beautiful, brilliant, college-professin' PhD T&A, but she's started to notice something wiggy in her wiring in Species: The Awakening (2007). Waking from a mysterious blackout, Helena finds herself surrounded by heaps of horribly mutilated human bodies. "What the hell?" Helena wonders, and she goes to her scientist uncle, Ben Cross, in hopes of getting to the bottom of what's happening to her sweet, sweet bottom. She's horrified to learn that she is actually a half-human/half-alien clone, and her only hope is to hightail it to Mexico with Uncle Ben in search of the scientist who concocted her. It's "Take me to your leader" meets "Take me to my breeder," but is it too late? How long can Miss Universe suppress the alien instincts within her? And what of the hybrid army chasing Ben and Helena (and her cosmically comely ET&A)?
