Desperate for cash, a down-on-his luck barfly begrudgingly agrees to transport a large cache of hash to Amsterdam in the Italian drama Il Prezzo (2000). Stefano Dionisi plays Romano, the unlucky stiff who accepts the dangerous assignment in order to afford another few months of hard drinking. When his girlfriend blanches at coming along for the ride, Romano begs the assistance with his ex-lover Alba (Chiara Caselli), who figures that the trip might be good for mending fences. Surprisingly it refuels the vixen’s romantic interest, and before long she’s shedding her top to boff Romano for old time’s sake––an excellent development for all involved.
