Comedy Central's largely improvised Cops send-up Reno 911! goes tropical in its big-screen adaptation, Reno 911!: Miami (2007). Series regulars Thomas Lennon, Ben Garant, and Kerri Kenney lead the usual gang of lawless enforcers to the Sunshine State after a terrorist attack mucks up a police convention on the south shore—smack in the midst of Spring Break madness. An alligator in a swimming pool, a topless beach adventure, and celebrity cameos from the likes of Paul Rudd and Danny DeVito (who also served as executive producer) make Reno 911!: Miami add up to raunchy good fun. The unrated DVD is even raunchier, gooder, and funner.
