Created by TV guru Stephen J. Cannell, the sexy cop drama Silk Stalkings was originally part of CBS’s late-night Crimetime after Primetime programming block, which allowed the show to explore more adult themes. Set in the glitzy world of Palm Beach, Florida, Silk Stalkings featured several different versions of a flirtatious male-female detective team. From 1991 to 1995 Rob Estes and Mitzi Kapture were the leads. After they left the show, the new and less popular duo of Nick Kokotakis and Tyler Layton replaced them. This pair was in turn replaced by Chris Potter and Janet Gunn after half a season.
