Fugees rapper Wyclef Jean and Bob Marley’s son Ky-Mani head an all-star cast of actors in a gritty urban thriller described by Variety as “a Jamaican Scarface.” Written and directed by Cess Silvera, Shottas (2002) follows a pair of West Indian thugs who are expelled from American soil for drug trafficking. Landing in Kingston, Jamaica, Biggs (Marley) and Wayne (Spragga Benz) don’t waste time emptying their clips into gangsters in a bid to procure new visas.
