Goofy Michael Kopelaw and psychotic Bradford Tatum are two stoners looking to kill another Saturday night in the suburbs of the ’70s in The Stoned Age (1994). Fortunately, they’re starring in one of the best teen comedies of the ’90s. The two go out in search of a party and discover sardonic China Kantner and gorgeous Renee Griffin. It’s a long night of sex and meaningful stoned conversation, spiced up with alien encounters, angry mobs and ’70s TV icon David Groh as a wrathful father. China’s totally adorable as a bittersweet dreamgirl, but it’s left to beautiful blonde Renee to doff her clothes and drag this movie into The Skin Age.
