Cult maverick Herschell Gordon Lewis chronicles the irrepressible antics of a hormonally hopped-up sixteen-year-old beauty in the sleazy underground classic Alley Tramp (1968). Julia Ames stars as Marie Barker, a budding sexpot who experiences a life-altering metamorphosis after catching her parents making free-spirited whoopee. Newly awakened to the possibilities of life’s sensual pleasures, Marie embarks on a torrid affair with her cousin (Steve White) before diving headfirst into a pool of even more inappropriate suitors. Lewis’s sexploitation flick is a mother-daughter showcase like no other, with Marie and Mrs. Barker (Jean Lamee) struggling to one-up one another in the number of men they can bed over the course of a sixty-eight-minute film. By the end, everybody’s a winner.
