The official tagline for the action-horror hybrid The Vindicator (1986) speaks volumes: "They thought they took his life . . . now he wants theirs. Invincible. Unstoppable. Indestructible. He's out on the street and out of control!" The "he" in question is scientist Alex Whyte (Richard Cox). When Whyte's body is immolated in an accident, evil corporate mogul Burt Arthurs (Maury Chaykin) transplants the wounded man's brain into the body of a robotic killing machine. You can count on mayhem to follow. Add in Pam Grier as a bounty hunter attempting to take down the mechanical menace, plus nude scenes from Caroline Arnold and Teri Austin, and The Vindicator is a boobs-out blast.
