Alternately titled Firefall, the adventure drama Freefall (1994) boasts exotic settings, a curvy leading lady, and priceless dialogue like “Ever parachute naked into a volcano?” Boasting a raft of B-talent that includes Eric Roberts, Jeff Fahey, and Pamela Gidley, John Irvin’s film concerns a magazine mogul who sends his top shutterbug to Africa to capture images of endangered birds. Once there, the female photographer (Gidley) makes the acquaintance of a nutty thrill-seeker (Roberts) who leads her on a series of increasingly bizarre adventures. Thankfully, when Gidley grows tired of swinging on vines and jumping off of waterfalls, she’s amenable to stripping down for some sensuous sex.
