La Répétition (2001) is the story of one woman's unrequited love for her childhood friend. Growing up, Louise adored her friend Nathalie. By the time they attend university together, adoration has blossomed into full-blown love. Louise, jealous of the male attention that is given to Nathalie, destroys the friendship and eventually marries to forget her past. Circumstances bring them together again later in life, however, and the question is: Will love conquer all? There is a lovely view of Emmanuelle Béart’s pink-tipped heavies as she takes a bath with her best friend.
