Marie can’t come. That’s the text and the subtext of the French comedy Tout le plaisir est pour moi (2004). Usually quite orgasmic, Marie wakes up one morning to find that she can no longer get off (“I’ve lost my clitoris,” she exclaims). The rest of the movie is spent discussing female sexuality and exploring why Marie can’t climax. This is a funny take on a common theme. Marie Gillain may not be able to have an orgasm, but you will when you glimpse her wicked woodymakers beneath her heaving fellow.
