Since the first airing in 1949, The Primetime Emmy Awards honoring excellence in broadcasting have been shown on all the major networks around mid-September. Since primetime broadcast TV is the last place you can ever expect to see nudity, everyone was surprised to see a guest appearance by the top halves of The Office star and writer Mindy Kaling’s silver-dollar-sized nipples peeking out from the top of her strapless dress in 2006.
